Join us for a hands-on, five-week in-house training led by our Lead Coach, Rekah Kagawan. Meeting weekly from January 25, 2026 - February 22, 2026 to gain practical experience, and become fully in-house certified in the Muuv Method —plus, you’ll have access to studio hours for practice and ongoing training opportunities. Upon completion of in-house training, you’ll have the chance to audition for a coach position at our studio as we build a talented team of instructors.


Training dates

January 25 – Intro to Xform + Foundations of Coaching

Learn the fundamentals of The Muuv Method and what makes Xformer training unique.

  • Xformer orientation and anatomy for safe, effective movement

  • The foundations of cueing, class planning, and flow structure

  • Building awareness of muscle activation and alignment

February 1 – Core Focus: Strength from the Center

Dive into the powerhouse of every Muuv Method class — the core.

  • Sequencing for warm-up, obliques, back, and core finishers

  • Understanding how to balance strength, mobility, and intensity

  • Practice teaching and movement labs to refine your coaching

February 8 – Stability & Upper Body Strength

Find balance and control through intentional, resistance-based movement.

  • Low-resistance leg work for balance, control, and alignment

  • Upper-body integration and flow connection

  • Cue layering for smooth transitions and dynamic variety

February 15 – Heavy Resistance Mastery

Take your classes to the next level with intensity and precision.

February 22 – Class Maintenance & Client Engagement

Meet our XFORM LEAD COACH

Rekah @rekahkagawan is a passionate movement leader and the Lead Xformer Coach at Muuv, known for her empowering, intentional, and welcoming approach to fitness. Born and raised in Concord, CA, she’s proud to bring the Muuv experience home—leading the next generation of coaches to teach from strength, joy, and purpose.

Her love of movement began early through competitive soccer and dance, giving her a deep appreciation for the body’s rhythm and resilience. Rekah earned her yoga certification in 2018 and went on to teach barre and hot Pilates before discovering her calling with the Xformer in 2022. With over seven years of teaching experience, she’s built a vibrant coaching style that blends the mindfulness of yoga, the musicality of dance, and the athletic energy of Xform.

In her classes, you can expect house beats, creative flow sequencing, and intentional cueing that connects every move to breath and alignment. Rekah’s mission extends beyond the workout—she helps people feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies. She believes movement should be a celebration, not a punishment, and her sessions reflect that philosophy through community, empowerment, and joy.

As the Lead Xformer Coach, Rekah now invites passionate movers to join her in Muuv’s first official in-house certification. Through The Muuv Method, trainees will not only learn the foundations of coaching Xformer fitness but also develop the mindset, sequencing skills, and leadership tools to inspire every client they teach.

Training Dates for Winter 2026

  • Jan. 25th 10am - 2pm Intro to Xform + Anatomy, Intro to Cueing + Class Planning

  • Feb 1 10am - 2pm  Core (Warm up, Obliques, Back, Core Finisher)

  • Feb 8th 10am - 2pm Stability Block (Low Resistance Legs), Upper Body Moves

  • Feb 15 10am - 2pm Heavy Resistance Moves

  • Feb 22 10am - 2pm Class Maintenance, Client Engagement

Mandatory Requirements for Training

  • Take at least 2 XForm classes per week at Muuv

  • Observe at least one class per week during training

  • Attend 8 hours of self-directed class practices at Muuv, coordinated in advance with Studio Manager

  • Take at least 20 XForm classes prior to the start of training

Class attendance is mandatory. If you miss a day you need to make it up and you will incur an additional $180 in instructor fees.

  • We recommend you’ve taken at least 20 Xformer, Lagree, or Reformer classes to get the most out of this training.

  • Yes, all participants who complete the training will receive a certification in The Muuv Method for XForm

  • You’ll gain hands-on experience with Xformer Pilates equipment, master playlist selections, cueing techniques, class blocking (structuring your sessions), and timing.

  • The training runs from Jan 25- Feb 22, 2026, Classes are hosted every Sunday for 4-hours. Attendance is mandatory for anyone who wants to receive a certification of completion or who wants to audition for a position on the team upon completion of training.

  • No, you are not guaranteed a job at Muuv upon completion of training. You will be offered an opportunity to audition for a coaching role at Muuv, but a position is not guaranteed. You will, however, be prepared to apply for positions at other XFormer Pilates studio.
